Columbia Center for the Arts Plein Air Workshops: Camille Przewodek and Randall Sexton

Discover a New Way of Seeing Color

Here's a chance to work in the stunning summer light of the Columbia River Gorge. Camille will teach the structure of landscape —what one should leave in and out, with a focus on expressing the big masses, light key and aerial perspective with color. The instructor will be doing demonstrations throughout the workshop, have intimate conversations with students about their vision and work as artists, and will share her remarkable understanding of color and light.

Methods for Plein Air Painting

Explore the panoramic views, lush landscape, and waterfalls of the Pacific Northwest in this 4-day intensive workshop. Instructor Randall Sexton is one of the premier contemporary California landscape painters. Randall is an absolute gem, delightful to work with and highly sought after as an instructor. His hands-on approach to teaching involves sharing his technique and knowledge while remaining focused on the individual needs of each student.
