Columbia Art Gallery, Collector's Preview Party

You are cordially invited to preview this highly anticipated Plein Air Gallery Show as a Collector's Award Sponsor.

Catered by our Collector Sponsor: Celilo Restaurant and Bar

Ticket price is $30. For writers who participate in the event, the preview party is just an additional $10 beyond your registration fee.
Please reserve by August 19.
Click to reserve your spot:
Collector's Preview Party
or call 541-387-8877.
You can expect an evening of food drinks, and conversation with other supporters, along with meeting and getting to know the participating artists and writers. As an invitee we are asking you to fulfill one very important aspect of the evening: become a Collector's Purchase Award Sponsor. Since the evening's food and drink is donated, 100% of your tax deductible ticket will go toward sustaining your Art Center.

By becoming a Collector's Purchase Award Sponsor, you are committing to purchasing a painting at the party, and helping CCA fulfill our mission to create an arts-rich environment in the Gorge. This preview is an opportunity to see the show prior to the public opening.
The paintings generally range from $150 to $2,800. At the party you will receive a collector's ribbon to attach to your painting of choice.
Our preview event last year generated the sale of over 50 paintings, the Center's largest event of the year! This year, the artwork of 40 exceptional landscape painters will be on display.

A message from Scott Gellatly (Portland, OR)

It is a great pleasure to let you know of an upcoming group show I will be participating in along with two terrific landscape painters, Michael Victor Jackson and Mitch Albala. I’ve known Mitch since my days in Seattle and have continued to stay in touch with him through my work with Gamblin Artists Colors. Besides being a painter, Mitch is a sought-after instructor and author of the recently published book, Landscape Painting: Essential Concepts and Techniques for Plein Air and Studio Practice. I hope you can make it by Brian Marki for the reception on Friday, July 2 (5-8pm) to see the work and meet Mitch. The exhibition runs until August 15
