(from an email from Utrecht) Plein Air in the Park will take place on Saturday, July 10th from 12pm to 4pm to correspond with the Pearl District's Bastille Day celebrations in Jamison Park. Our event will be located in the NW Park blocks between Davis and Everett. Everyone is invited to bring easels and painting supplies. As in years past, Utrecht Art Supplies will provide some materials for passers-by who would like to try their hand at painting en plein air, and will provide water, snacks and free gifts for the “featured artists” as a thank-you for your participation. Come enjoy the summer with Utrecht ...ALL LEVELS encouraged to participate...the more the merrier! -------------------- Google Map There is a smart park garage just off the broadway bridge, about 7 blocks from the north end of the park if you get frustrated trying to find a space on the street.
