Habitat for Humanity needs painters---(no not that kind...your kind!)

Habitat for Humanity is hosting Brews and Blues Festival on Aug 7-8 at Island Park in Springfield. They would like to have plein air painters volunteer their time and donate their painting that day to Habitat for Humanity. I got this request from Kristina Stewart. Please reply to her if you can participate Saturday August 8, 2009.

Dear Plein Air Painters:
We are hoping to have artists set up their easels and paint from 11-3 in the park. After the first couple of hours, we will station a volunteer with each artist to take blind bids for the finished work as part of a silent auction. At 3 pm, the paintings will be moved to a central location and an announcement will be made from the stage that buyers have 15 more minutes to make their final bids. The proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity and will be a tax write-off for the artists as a donation.

Thank you for all your help,
Kristina Stewart
